Education
Dr. B received her doctorate (PhD) in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota, her Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree in Nutrition from the University of California, Berkeley & is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Dietitian (LD).
Experience
Dr. B has extensive experience in clinical, research, public health & academic settings
Clinical & Research settings include the University of California San Francisco Children's Renal Center, the University of Southern California General Clinical Research Center. and University of Kentucky
Public Health settings include the Minnesota Department of Health,
Academic settings include tenured faculty, Division of Clinical Nutrition, University of Kentucky, invited guest lecturer at the University of Minnesota and Professor, Northwestern Health Sciences University where Dr. B created a Master's program in applied clinical nutrition for health professionals.
Awards/Certificates
Dr. B is past recipient of the John M. Kinney International Award for Nutrition and Metabolism.
Dr. B also received Certificates in Childhood and Adolescent as well as Adult Weight Management from Commission on Dietetic Registration & a Certificate in Business Administration from University of Kentucky.
